Stacking the Shelves #1

Time to look at the books I added to my shelves this week with Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews!

This week I got a fair few new books - partly books I've put off picking up from the bookstore over the holidays and partly because... well, it's Christmas week! Here are the books I added lately (in no particular order):

Have you read any of these? What did you think? And, of course, what books did you add to your own shelves this week? Share in the comments!

  1. Wow, that's quite a haul. I've yet to read "The Hobbit", but I'm looking to try it after seeing "The Desolation of Smaug".

As for the "Hogwarts Library" set, that looks beautiful.

Please feel free to check out my Christmas haul at http://thewanderingbookworm.wordpress.com/2013/12/28/book-haul-christmas-2013-haul/

    Enjoy your reads.

  3. Great assortment! I have read The Hobbit, Anna and the French Kiss and Enclave. I got The Bone Season this week too. Come see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading and happy new year!

    1. Hobbit is an old fave, but I didn't have a copy. The movies made me want to read it again! I keep hearing about Anna and Enclave, so I figured I should find out what all the fuss was about. Did you like them?

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Great set of books! I thought Anna & the French Kiss was a really sweet read. I really want to read The Bone Season as I've heard so many great things. I recently got Enclave and can't wait too start it, I also just got Shatter Me & Unravel Me for Christmas and am going to be reading those soon. I hope you enjoy all of your books! :) My STS.

    1. Yeah, Anna keeps getting mentioned so I feel like I need to know what it's all about! I actually stumbled across The Bone Season while I was at the drugstore waiting to get my prescriptions filled. I picked it up and idly read the description, next thing I know I'm ordering it!

I have heard SO much about Shatter Me and Unravel Me. I have high hopes for these ones! Looking forward to hearing what you think too. Thanks for stopping by!
