MONTHLY WRAP-UP: MAY 2014

I only read four books this month. Not quite sure how that happened, but yeah. (And one of them was a kid's book.) I'm part way into about 5 other books, but I have had trouble settling into them. So there you go, that was my month.

I was quite busy on my blog, though. I re-did it not once, but twice, trying to get a new look I was happy with. I also wrote a good number of posts.

It was also my birthday, so I got all kinds of spoiled with... you guessed it - new books! I've got lots of reading to do this month, and I'm hoping to get through more than four!

What did you guys get up to in May? Share, share, share!

  2. I think I only read one or two books in May, so don't even worry about your four. I'm impressed. Loved both blog redesigns, but this one especially!

    1. Yeah, but you had some good excuses what with the school and the roomie and the moving and stuff. And also one of mine was a kid's book that took me like half an hour. So you can go ahead and be less impressed now! Lol!

Thanks! I did the first one because I just wanted a change RIGHT NOW. But then I made the cover photo into the profile pic for my twitter an FB and realized I liked it, and that my blog really should match it. It's much pinker than I had planned, but I think it'll do for the summer at least. I'm still working on my skills, so we'll see if I come up with anything even better at some point! I'm learning!

  3. 4 is better than none. I want to read A.J. Fikry myself... lol.. Happy June reading!

    1. It is at that! I highly recommend it. It's a good read for this time of year as well, I think, as it's pretty light and... well, not fun, exactly, but oddly uplifting. I hope you enjoy it!
