Time to look at the books I added to my shelves this week with Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews! Not necessarily books I bought - also includes books I borrowed, was given or otherwise ended up with. Weeks I don't buy any books I'll scramble around my shelves and find some I haven't shared in an StS post yet!

The Bane Chronicles - Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson
What We See When We Read - Peter Mendelsund

Alan Turing: The Enigma - Andrew Hodges
One Hour In Paris - Karyn L. Freedman
Review Copies thanks to Random House of Canada:

The Strange Library - Haruki Murakami
Little White Lies - Katie Dale

Pretty exciting week! Looking for some great reads just in time for the holidays. What about you guys? Pick up any exciting reads this week? Share in the comments!

  1. What We See When We Read went on my pretty short Xmas list this year, so I'm hoping one of the family members decides to buy it for me!

    1. I'm really excited to read it! I've got a stack of books about books and reading - I find they're good reading when I'm in a funk. I'll cross my fingers that Santa drops off a copy for you!

  2. Been seeing Little White Lies everywhere this week, sounds good! :)

    Here's mine

    Kirsty @ StudioReads

    1. Yeah - I've just started it and I'm intrigued so far! :)

  3. Little White Lies looks awesome, I'm going to have to check that out on goodreads! I have also been meaning to read The Bane Chronicles because I adore Sarah Rees Brennan =P

    Emily @ Falling For YA

    1. Yeah, I've got high hopes! I haven't read much Brennan, but I feel like this will be a good one for when I finally get around to finishing the Mortal Instruments series!
