Boring Girls - Sara Taylor (April 14, 2015)
In the Unlikely Event - Judy Blume (June 2, 2015)

Already Released:

Almost Famous Women - Megan Mayhew Bergman (January 6, 2015)
All the Bright Places - Jennifer Niven (January 6, 2015)
Funny Girl - Nick Hornby (February 3, 2015)

The Shadow Cabinet - Maureen Johnson (February 10, 2015)
Irritable Hearts - Mac McClelland (February 24, 2015)

Girl In the Dark- Anne Lyndsey (March 3, 2015)
Dead Wake - Erik Larson (March 10, 2015)

I've actually started Almost Famous Women (Katie from Bookish Tendencies and I are reading it as a buddy read) and All the Bright Places (which I know I'm going to love based on Katrin's recommendation, so I'm saving it). The others I'm just really looking forward to! Have you read any of these? If so, what did you think?

  1. Totally forgot about Hold Me Closer and The Shadow Cabinet which I definitely want to read. Recently finished All the Bright Places, which was so good but also so heartbreaking.

    1. Okay, I don't know how this is possible, but I didn't even KNOW about Hold Me Closer until a few days ago!!! To say it's a nice surprise is an understatement. I loved Tiny's character in Will Grayson, Will Grayson, so I've got high hopes! I'm looking forward to The Shadow Cabinet, though I have kind of forgotten some of what happened in the last book. Might be time for a re-read! I've heard great things about All the Bright Places, which I've read the beginning of (and decided to save because I just KNOW I'm going to love it!).

  2. I haven't read any of the books you list, but several interest me, especially Funny Girl.

I love how you divided up your list. I just kind of lumped a bunch of books I hope to read this spring.

    1. Oh good! I'm looking forward to Funny Girl. I've read a bunch of Hornby's books and the majority are a lot of fun to read. Also some of the better book-to-movie adaptations I've seen. Thanks! I felt like it was kind of cheating to include books that have already come out, but... well, I had to!

    1. You've read it? I'm excited, but I don't really remember what happened in the last one, so I'm trying to decide if I need a re-read before starting this one or if I can just dive right in!

  14. Really enjoyed All the Bright Places! It has a great mix of happy moments and sad moments, and I felt that the main characters -Finch and Violet- were very relateable. Hope you like it!
