STACKING THE SHELVES | #68

Time to look at the books I added to my shelves this week with Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews! Not necessarily books I bought - also includes books I borrowed, was given or otherwise ended up with. Weeks I don't buy any books I'll scramble around my shelves and find some I haven't shared in an StS post yet!

Ten Years In the Tub - Nick Hornby
The Folded Clock - Heidi Julavits

And from the lovely folks at Random House of Canada:

On the Move - Oliver Sacks

I'm particularly excited about the books I picked up this week, because I've either heard great things, am fascinated by the synopsis - or both! Have you guys read any of these? Do you have any of these on your TBR pile? Tell me in the comments!

  1. You picked up a lot of really beautiful books! Love the design of The Folded Clocks, and it sounds really interesting too! Everyone seems to ADORE Simon. Excited to see what you think about it.

    1. Isn't it gorgeous??? And I've heard good things about its guts. Bonus. I'm saving Simon because a) I like looking forward to things, and b) I am kind of nervous it'll end up not being as good as I expect! I'll definitely share my thoughts when I get to it though.

  3. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nick Hornby's Believer columns. Prepare to have a zillion books added to your TBR list while you read it! I even named my monthly book recap post after him - The Polysyllabic Spree. Enjoy! :)

    1. I love Hornby in general. I haven't read his columns, but I'm even more excited for this book now! I mostly just love books about reading and about other books. It's something of a personal obsession for me!
