STACKING THE SHELVES | #75

Time to look at the books I added to my shelves this week with Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews! Not necessarily books I bought - also includes books I borrowed, was given or otherwise ended up with. Weeks I don't buy any books I'll scramble around my shelves and find some I haven't shared in an StS post yet!

Wallflowers - Eliza Robertson

In Cold Blood - Truman Capote

What did you guys add to your overstuffed bookshelves this week? Have you read any of these? What did you think? Share in the comments!

  1. I haven't read any of these, to be honest. They don't like young adult books, which is probably why. This week, I got a couple things but since I do monthly recaps, it's kind of crazy. I'm drowning in books!

    1. No, not YA books this week! I'm looking forward to Finding Audrey, though. And there are worse problems than drowning in books, for sure!
      Happy reading!

    1. Thank you! It's a bit of a mixed bag this week, and mostly outside of my normal reading, but I'm trying to branch out a bit! :)

  3. I don't think I added anything. I'll just say, In Cold Blood is so dang good!

    1. My cousin told me all about it - not just the story, but the toll telling it took on Capote. It's so sad, but I feel like with what he sacrificed to write this book, it's definitely worth reading. I'm looking forward to it (though now that I think about it, I don't know if that's exactly the right turn of phrase given the subject matter!).

  4. I love In Cold Blood! I hope you love it. It's a suspenseful read, even though it is nonfiction.

    1. I think it'll be one of those books that's excellent but really difficult to read precisely because it's so excellent, if you know what I mean? I feel like it's going to be worth the effort though.

  5. All of these books are on my TBR, but I keep seeing How to Talk About Books when I'm searching for an audio book, but just not sure if I should go for it.
