Okay, so I've basically forgotten about all the reading challenges I enthusiastically signed up for at the beginning of the year (except for the Goodreads challenge, but let's face it, that pretty much takes care of itself as long as you track what you're reading on Goodreads). But my friend Julianne who blogs over at the brilliant Outlandish Lit told me about Books On the Nightstand's Bingo and, well, I was seduced by its charms.

First of all, it's bingo. I love bookish bingo. But that's not all - you get your own card! As in, there are multiple cards, and you can download yours by going to this link. The challenge runs from May 25 to September 7, so there's still some time to get in on the awesome!

Above you can see my card, much of which I'm very excited to check off. Here's my progress so far:

If you're participating share the link to your post in the comments so I can compare cards and books!

  1. Me, me, me! Julianne wrangled me in as well, of course.

I've already cleared seven of my squares, but I'm not that close to getting bingo yet. We actually share quite a few: about a subject that challenges you, published in 2015, popular psych, with footnotes, from the Harvard Classics 5 foot shelf, and on a topic currently in the news.

Excited to see how you continue to fill the card! :)

  2. I’m doing it too! I saw it on Shaina’s blog and signed up. I think I’ve marked off maybe four books as it currently stands (I should really do an update post soonish). Mine’s here https://bitsnbooks.wordpress.com/2015/06/20/book-bingo/

I think I’ve checked off Set Before 1800, Western, Six Words or More in the Title, and actually that’s it. Only three.

I wish I’d got the Time Travel square though. I love reading about time travel. It makes my head hurt though because I overthink the whole thing.
