COVER REVEAL: Drawing Amanda - Stephanie Feuer

DRAWING AMANDA is set in the under-parented, high-expectation world of a Manhattan international prep school. Fourteen-year-old Inky Kahn, smarting from the death of his father, only wants to have his artwork seen and appreciated. When he submits a drawing of his secret crush – Amanda – to an Internet game developer, Inky inadvertently draws her into a cyber-stalker’s lair. Now Inky must use his art to save his muse and trap the creep before he ensnares anyone else.

I hadn't heard of this book before I was approached with the opportunity to participate in the cover reveal, but it piqued my interest immediately. As most of you already know, I'm a big believer in judging books by their covers. I mean, I'll read a book with a cover I don't like if I hear enough about it, but if I'm browsing in a bookstore, it's the cover that makes me pick up a book.

This cover I'd pick up.

What's even cooler? The artist who did the cover illustration also drew animated GIF illustrations that are placed throughout the enhanced ebook version - so the pictures actually move. Is that not the coolest idea ever? Yes. Yes it is. (Don't worry if you're a luddite like me - the paper and regular ebook versions still have the pretty pictures. They're just not moving pretty pictures.)

Drawing Amanda is set for release on June 15, 2014.

    1. Right? I'm stoked to see the final book. I wish I could enter - but I feel like since I'm part of the cover reveal, it's only fair to let you guys have a better shot! I hope I get to see it, though!

Yeah, I can see why, from a removed perspective, Harry and Hermione might have made sense. But I wouldn't change the story. I had no problem with how it worked out. I also think that both Harry and Hermione have similar personalities. They take things seriously and don't have that more happy-go-lucky attitude that Ron has, or spunky thing Ginny does. So I think that it's neat that the couples are balanced out a bit in that respect. Based on my own relationship experience, two serious people don't necessarily make the best couple!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting! (And I'm always up for some HP chat!)
