I'll Give You the Sun - Jandy Nelson
I had pre-ordered both of these, and I've since read mixed reviews of Anatomy of a Misfit. I'm still going to give it a try, but I'll Give You the Sun is the one I'm more excited about! What did you guys add or pull out from your shelves this week?
I'm quite excited for I'll Give You The Sun! I LOVE that cover! So bright and...um...summery. Hehe. I'm so lame, but I can't resist. ;) I didn't have a brilliant time with Anatomy of a Misfit, but mostly it was because Anika was so infuriatingly immature. But it is kind of hilarious. I hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteHonestly? I don't remember what I'll Give You the Sun was about. COVER. Yeah, I don't have high hopes for Anatomy, but I'll give it a fair shake. I'm a bit older than most YA book bloggers (33), so I do find I struggle more with less mature characters and plots. I mean, I accept that if I choose to read YA I have to adjust my expectations, but there are limits. So we'll see!
