This week's Top Ten Tuesday on The Broke and the Bookish is "Top Ten Books Book Covers I'd Frame as Pieces of Art." Normally I worry about finding enough to hit 10. Not this time. I'm pooling all the TTTs I've missed, all the times I only made it to 7 or 6 or 5... and I'm adding them in here. Buckle up guys, this is going to be a long one. And because this post is all about the graphics, it's a picture-only post, folks!
I'm sure I'm forgetting some that I'll be kicking myself for later, but those are the ones I found! Did I miss any great covers? Share your faves in the comments!

These are great choices! Perfect Ruin is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Top Ten Tuesday!
Katrina @ Chased By My Imagination
Isn't it? I'll freely admit that I bought it solely for the cover!
DeleteAlso just FYI - I tried to comment on your blog, but it won't let me without linking to my G+ account, and I couldn't even find any way to contact you on your site. I'm not comfortable linking to my G+ when I comment, so I can't leave any notes on your blog! :( Not sure if you were aware of this or not, but you might be losing out on interaction because people don't want to use their full name or don't want to integrate with their G+. Just a bit of reader feedback! :)
I love the cover of The Flame Alphabet. Haven't read it, but it's gorgeous. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it yet either, but that cover... I might have to give it a try just based on that! Thank you!
DeleteOh I love your picks! Hope is a Ferris Wheel, Kavalier & Clay, 1984 and the one with the pencils especially :)
ReplyDeleteThose are some of my faves, too! Love your picks this week. Amazing.
DeleteGreat List!! I LOVED This Side of Salvation!! Perfect Ruin has a great cover as well.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT: http://jacquesbooknook.blogspot.com/2014/05/top-ten-tuesday-book-covers-i-would.html
I have high hopes for Salvation - it looks like it could be pretty great! I definitely bought Perfect Ruin like 90% because of the cover, even though I've heard mixed things about it. It's just that pretty!
DeleteBeautiful covers! I also chose Splintered :-)
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Perfect Ruin is stunning.
Splintered is mesmerizing. Literally. When it arrived I just sat there staring at it like an idiot for like 5 minutes!
DeleteHow does Ben Marcus have the coolest book covers ever? Also, that Moby Dick was is greeeeaaat ugh things are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yeah, great covers - though honestly I've never read a single word of his writing! And yes, things are ugh beautiful.
